Arkansas’s 2027 schedule: the three matchups to circle

The 2027 Arkansas schedule gives our preseason discussion a set of actual dates. The matchups below are the three I would circle first: tests of roster depth and contender expectations, rather than a claim that preseason national rankings have already settled the league.

As of October 7, the school has released its complete 56-game regular-season schedule.

Our starting point is the preseason outlook. The newcomers make Arkansas interesting. They become convincing when their roles work on the road, not just on a roster announcement.

Mar 19 – Mar 21 · at Ole Miss

The SEC opener puts a rebuilt Arkansas roster on the road against a 2026 Omaha club—the exact setting where new roles must translate.

Mar 25 – Mar 27 · vs. Alabama

A Thursday home series against another Omaha team checks the rotation and bullpen before April begins.

Apr 23 – Apr 25 · at Texas

Austin is the strongest midseason road measuring stick for the premise that the Razorbacks’ new talent can travel.
