Florida’s 2027 schedule: the three matchups to circle

The 2027 Florida schedule gives our preseason discussion a set of actual dates. The matchups below are the three I would circle first: tests of roster depth and contender expectations, rather than a claim that preseason national rankings have already settled the league.

As of October 7, the school has released its complete 56-game regular-season schedule.

Our starting point is the preseason outlook. One trusted arm is a strong opening argument. Florida still needs the rest of the weekend to support it.

Mar 19 – Mar 21 · at Auburn

Opening league play on the road immediately asks whether Aidan King’s foundation is supported by the rest of the weekend staff.

Apr 16 – Apr 18 · vs. Texas

A home series against a 2026 Omaha team is a fair test of whether 21 newcomers have become a complete contender.

May 14 – May 16 · vs. Georgia

The final home weekend against the reigning SEC champion should reveal how much depth Florida has developed since February.

The SEC schedule
